Hall Tavern Farm sells wide pine and hardwood flooring as well as other value-added wood products from our farm's forests in East Charlemont.

 

Wilder Brook Farm

Wilder Brook Farm began in 1996 and we're proud to be Charlemont's only CSA. We grow over 300 varieties of non-toxic, sustainably grown vegetables, herbs and flowers. As a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) we sell our produce to members who join in the spring of the year and pick up vegetables through-out the growing season. We're located on West Oxbow Road, mid-way between Shelburne Falls and Charlemont.

Franklin County Community Development Corporate Business Lending Program

The Franklin County Community Development Corporation’s (www.fccdc.org) Business Lending Program has money available for the businesses (both existing and start up) and entrepreneurs of Charlemont to provide needed capital – especially when not available from a traditional, banking venue.

Loans made can range in size from $5,000 to as much $200,000 to support the further growth and development Charlemont businesses – including home-based businesses – as part of the overall CDC mission to further develop Franklin County and North Quabbin’s vital, local economies.

In addition, the CDC’s Business Technical Assistance program has grant monies available to work with Charlemont businesses (both existing and start up) to provided needed technical assistance covering a broad range of purposes – including bookkeeping/accounting, marketing and web-site design.
