Franklin County Fix It Day

Local towns, in conjunction with the Franklin County Solid Waste District, are hosting two June fix-it/repair events for Franklin County residents. These events are free and open to all Franklin County residents.

On Saturday, June 13th from 11 am – 2 pm a wide variety of repair stations will be set up at the Colrain Central School at 22 Jacksonville Rd. Fixing stations include electrical, woodworking, gluing, mending/darning, jewelry, knife and tool sharpening, restringing weed whackers, and bikes. There will also be activities for kids.

Saturday, June 27th from 11 am to 2 pm at the Conway Grammar School at 24 Fournier Rd. This fix-it event is still being planned. Details will be posted to the Franklin County Solid Waste District’s website.

Local “fixers” are being sought. If you are interested in volunteering, contact the solid waste district.
