Broadband Device Distribution Program
Charlemont Launches Device Distribution Program for Qualified Residents with funding provided by the Massachusetts Broadband Institute under the Municipal Digital Equity Implementation Program. Laptops or tablets are available free to qualified residents of Charlemont on a first come, first serve basis while supplies last.
How do I get a device?
-
You will complete the recipient qualification form which will be stored in a secure location at the town hall. It is very short and does not require additional documentation.
-
Program representatives can recommend an appropriate device in collaboration with you based on your needs.
-
Training is recommended. The Tyler Memorial Library hosts weekly tech support hours, or other arrangements can be made outside of standing support hours, Public workshops are also available.
-
The device is yours. You are asked to return the device if it is no longer desired. If returned, the device will be cleared and returned for circulation to others.
